- Total patent applications this week: 1,475 (Early publications: 447, Ordinary publications: 1,028)
- Patent examination decreased by 3.79%, standing at 380.
- Patent grants decreased by 56.74% to 860 applications.
Breakdown by City – Early Publications:
- Delhi: Decreased by 51.56% (287 to 139)
- Mumbai: Declined by 67.90% (162 to 52)
- Chennai: Drop of 87.28% (1754 to 223)
- Kolkata: increased by 725% (4 to 33).
Ordinary Publications by City:
- Delhi: 8.85% increase (305 to 332)
- Mumbai: 74.10% decline (112 to 29)
- Chennai: 2.63% drop (76 to 74)
- Kolkata: increased by 1644% (34 to 593).
First Examination Report (FER) Distribution:
- Delhi: 158
- Mumbai: 75
- Chennai: 121
- Kolkata: 26.
Publications Under Grant by City:
- Delhi witnessed a 60.16% decline (831 to 331)
- Mumbai saw a decrease of 46.02% (289 to 156)
- Chennai observed a drop of 54.42% (621 to 283)
- Kolkata reported a drop of 63.56% (247 to 90).

- 587 designs registered this week, increased from 360 the previous week.
