Tencent sues ByteDance over infringement claims Tencent, the Chinese technology conglomerate, has recently sued ByteDance, which is another Chinese internet technology company that owns the short video platform “Douyin”. MAY AND JUNE  2021 In the month of June 2021 there has been an increase of 1865% in the total number of copyright applications filed, as compared to the month of May 2021.
