Dr. Kalyan C. Kankanala is an intellectual property attorney and the Managing Partner of BananaIP Counsels. His contribution to intellectual property in India spans professional practice, published books and articles, and policy engagement.

He holds a PhD in Intellectual Property Law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, and an LLM from UNH School of Law, USA. He has written for Intellepedia since 2007.
