1. Data Fiduciary and Scope

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, BananaIP Counsels acts as the Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data, if any, processed through Intellepedia. This policy applies only to interactions with Intellepedia and does not extend to other BananaIP websites, platforms, or services.

2. Principles of Data Processing

Intellepedia adheres to the principles of informed consent, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, and reasonable security safeguards. No personal data shall be collected or processed without free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent, unless such processing is required under applicable law.

3. Personal Data Collected

Intellepedia does not collect personal data by default. Personal data may be collected only when voluntarily provided by a user, such as for writing blog posts, when submitting comments, contacting the Grievance Officer, or communicating with Intellepedia administrators. Such data may include name, email address, IP address, and content of communication.

No sensitive personal data is intentionally collected through Intellepedia.

4. Purpose of Collection and Use

Personal data collected through Intellepedia shall be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the stated purpose or to comply with legal requirements. Upon fulfilment of the purpose or withdrawal of consent, the data shall be securely deleted or anonymised, unless retention is required by law.
