1. Role of BananaIP Counsels

BananaIP Counsels provides technical hosting, administrative support, and platform level management for Intellepedia. BananaIP Counsels acts as an intermediary and hosting platform and does not control, pre-screen, monitor, supervise, curate, or regulate the substantive content published on the blog. Editorial independence is respected, and authors are provided freedom to express their own views, opinions, and interpretations.

2. Authorial Independence and Responsibility

All articles, posts, and comments published on Intellepedia reflect the personal views and opinions of the respective authors or users. Such views and opinions do not represent the views of BananaIP Counsels. Authors are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, originality, and consequences of their content. BananaIP Counsels does not endorse, verify, or warrant the correctness or completeness of any content published on the blog.

3. Author Obligations under Information Technology Laws

In accordance with the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021, authors and users shall not host, upload, publish, transmit, or share any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, hateful, misleading, impersonating, infringing intellectual property rights, threatening the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

Authors and users shall not publish content that is knowingly false, misleading, or intended to harass, intimidate, or harm individuals or entities. Authors shall ensure that content does not violate confidentiality obligations, court orders, or statutory restrictions.

4. Nature and Purpose of Content

The content on Intellepedia is published for general information, academic discussion, knowledge dissemination, and research oriented purposes only. The content does not constitute legal advice or professional advice of any kind. Readers are advised to seek independent professional advice before relying on any information published on the blog.

5. Copyright and Ownership

Copyright in content published on Intellepedia is owned either by BananaIP Counsels pursuant to contractual arrangements with authors, or by independent authors who retain copyright in their respective works. 6. Limited Licence to Readers

Readers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to access, read, download, and share Intellepedia content strictly for personal use, educational use, informational purposes, academic reference, and non-commercial research. Proper attribution to Intellepedia and the author is mandatory. Any commercial use or republication requires prior written permission.

7. Prohibition on Artificial Intelligence Use

No permission is granted to use any Intellepedia content for artificial intelligence related purposes including training, fine-tuning, scraping, data mining, dataset creation, testing, or validation of machine learning or artificial intelligence systems. 9. Takedown and Content Removal Process

If any content hosted on Intellepedia is reported as infringing, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms of Use or applicable law, BananaIP Counsels shall, upon receiving actual knowledge through a court order or notification by an appropriate government authority, or upon receipt of a valid grievance, take reasonable and expeditious action to remove or disable access to such content in accordance with applicable law.

BananaIP Counsels reserves the right to remove content on a voluntary basis to comply with legal obligations or to prevent harm, without assuming any editorial responsibility.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Intellepedia may collect and process limited personal information such as names, email addresses, IP addresses, and comment related data when users access the blog, submit comments, or communicate with the Grievance Officer. Such collection and processing shall be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

Use of Intellepedia is also governed by the Intellepedia Privacy Policy, which sets out details relating to collection, use, storage, and protection of personal data. By using Intellepedia, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Third Party Content

Third party content published on Intellepedia is identified and attributed to the respective rights holders. Intellepedia does not claim ownership over such content and does not grant any licence beyond what is permitted by the original owner.

12. Trademarks

The names BananaIP and Intellepedia, associated logos, and related identifiers are proprietary trademarks. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

14. Grievance Redressal

If you believe that any content infringes your rights or violates applicable law, you may submit a grievance to the Grievance Officer. Complaints shall be acknowledged and processed in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021.

15. Modification of Terms

BananaIP Counsels may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the blog constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
