Biography
With extensive experience in mechanical and automotive technologies, Somashekar has developed expertise in drafting and prosecuting Patents for complex engineering inventions. His background includes working as an associate at a leading US Patent firm.
As a former Patent consultant for SMEs through UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization), he has advised over 60 companies in machine tools, foundry, and plastics sectors on Intellectual Property strategy.
Somashekar was part of a Government of India delegation that studied Japanese Patent practices, bringing international perspectives to his IP advisory work.
