Indian Copyright Statistics-May to July 2021

A compilation of the statistics for the Indian copyright applications during the months of May-July 2021, is given below.

MAY AND JUNE  2021

In the month of June 2021 there has been an increase of 1865% in the total number of copyright applications filed, as compared to the month of May 2021. A total of 121 applications were filed in May 2021 and a total of 2378 filed in June 2021.  The majority of applications were filed for literary/ dramatic works and artistic work.

In the month of July 2021 there has been an increase of 41% in the total number of copyright applications filed, as compared to the month of June 2021. A total of 2378 applications were filed in June 2021 and a total of 3364 filed in July 2021.  The majority of applications were filed for literary/ dramatic works in both June and July.
