This week\u2019s Patent & Design data has been compiled from the Official Journal of the Patents and Designs Office published by the patent office on the 21st<\/sup> of February 2020.<\/p>\n

INDIAN PATENT STATISTICS<\/strong><\/h1>\n

A total of 733 patent applications have been published in the 8th<\/sup>\u00a0issue of the Patent Journal, 2020. Out of the 733 applications published in the journal, 111 applications account for early publications while 622 applications account for ordinary publications or publications occurring after the 18 \u2013 month period. A total of 518 applications have been granted last week as compared to 554 grants in the week preceding the last thereby marking a decrease of about 6.49%
