This week\u2019s Patent & Design data has been compiled from the Official Journal of the Patents and Designs Office published by the patent office on the 15th<\/sup> of November 2019. These statistics are presented to you by the Patent attorneys and experts of BananaIP Counsels, India\u2019s leading Intellectual Property Firm.<\/p>\n

INDIAN PATENT STATISTICS<\/span><\/h2>\n

A total of 714 patent applications have been published in the 46th<\/sup> issue of the Patent Journal, 2019. Out of the 714 applications published in the journal, 108 applications account for early publications while 606 applications account for ordinary publications or publications occurring after the 18 \u2013 month period. A total of 378 applications have been granted last week as compared to 557 grants in the week preceding the last thereby marking a decrease of about 32.13%.<\/p>\n

The designs office has registered a total of 147 designs this week. The total designs registered from the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0of January 2019 till date now adds to a total of\u00a013012 applications.<\/p>\n
