Last week, the Indian Trademark Office had an overall decrease in its working capacity as can be seen from the statistics in the table below. The total number of applications disposed through show cause hearings has decreased by sixty percent (60%), and the total number of hearing notices issued has decreased by eleven percent (11%). There is also a decrease of thirty percent (30%) in the total applications published in the trademark journal.<\/p>\n
