The Patent and Design Statistics illustrated below have been compiled from the Official Journal of the Patents and Designs Office published by the patent office on Fridays, every week. These statistics are presented to you by the Patent attorneys and experts of BananaIP Counsels, India\u2019s leading Intellectual Property Firm.<\/p>\n

INDIAN PATENT STATISTICS<\/h2>\n

A total of 842 patent applications have been published in the 44th<\/sup> issue of the Patent Journal, 2019. Out of the 842 applications published in the journal, 112 applications account for early publications while 730 applications account for ordinary publications or publications occurring after the 18 \u2013 month period. A total of 359 applications have been granted last week as compared to 562 grants in the week preceding the last thereby marking a decrease of about 36.12%.<\/p>\n
