Indian Patent Statistics<\/h2>\n

After a considerably long time there is a visible increase in the number of patent applications published and granted by the Indian Patent Office. A total of 1045 patent applications have been published in the 14th<\/sup> issue of the patent journal. Of the 1045 applications, 110 applications account for early publications while 935 applications account for ordinary publications or publications occurring after the 18 month period. A total of 522 applications have been granted this week marking a significant increase in grants by about 81%.<\/p>\n
