There has been a significant increase in the total number of patent applications that have been published this week by the Indian Patent Office. With a total of 1,214 patent applications being published, the percentage of publications has increased massively by approximately 94.55%. While 62 of these patent applications are early publications, the remaining 1,152 applications are ordinary publications or publications occurring after the 18 month period. A total of 219 patents have been issued this week, which marks a significant increase of 41.29%.<\/p>\n

They rarely depend on a person\u2019s educational qualifications. A living example to this notion is an inventor by the name Syed Hassan. Syed Hassan, a class seven dropout and a biryani outlet owner has invented what is being claimed as the world\u2019s \u201cfirst analogue world clock\u201d. The clock works on the principle of the movement of the sun and the moon and gives the exact time of anyplace in the world. Syed Hassan has already filed a patent application for this invention with the Indian Patent Office on the 9th<\/sup> of February 2017. The application numbered 201741004662 was recently published by the IPO on the 11th<\/sup> of August 2017.<\/p>\n The abstract of the patent application reads as follows- \u201cThis is an analogue world wall clock which shows the timing of all countries in the world. It also shows the GMT(Greenwich Mean Time) & UTC(coordinated universal time) timings, along with the day and night changes. This clock has 24 hours module and by using this clock we are able to know yearly rotation of the SUN, it also shows the AM(ante meridiem) and PM(post meridiem). This analogue world wall clock was designed using 96 GMT lines and which was represented in four colour lines. The GMT timings represented on the Yellow line in the clock is designed in such a manner that till now no other countries have used this. So the timings of various countries in the world can be easily found. By using this clock they can know their time exactly. There are totally 96 GMT lines in this clock. The difference between the 96 GMT lines in this Analogue world wall clock is 3.75\u00b0. Thus 96×3.75\u00b0 makes 360\u00b0 of the clock. In this clock to find the timing of the particular location in hours we have to look at the hours hand corresponding to the GMT line passing through the location. In this clock to find the timing of the particular location in minutes, the colour of the GMT line which is passing through the particular location need to be traced. The minutes for the corresponding GMT line colour can be found from the minutes hand having the same colour. ln this clock the seconds hand shows the timing in seconds. This is common for all the countries. This clock is designed in such a manner that it shows the day and night changes and able to know the yearly rotation of sun. The unique set of ingredients comprising Salt, Water, Wheat flour, Edible Oil, Base sauce, Vegetables, Mushrooms, Chopped Onion, Oregano, Mozzarella cheese. The first step is the preparation of PARATHZZAA Base. After preparation of the base, this base is now rolled out evenly, followed by the application of 30 grams of Base sauce, upon which 60 grams of either vegetables or mushrooms or any other prepared filling is spread. Further, 10 grams of chopped onion and 10 grams of oregano is spread after adding 50 grams of mozzarella cheese. In a crowded market\/cinema hall the suicide bomber enters through hall gate and if detected by security person, detonate the body bomb and kills many people. Our simple two suggestions which is described below, if implemented, can save many lives. (A) The idea is to use a wide entry gate and engage a similar X-ray machine that is used in airport for online baggage screening. If any doubtful scan result gets detected on screen, the X-ray scanning gate will close. The security person sitting at a distant location if detects any doubtful scan will ask the doubtful person to open up his clothing for thorough check. This little machine scanner can save disaster happening due to suicide bomb. (B) Here, we will also use dual frequency ultrasonic beam to an approaching person from a distance (say 50 ft). The high frequency will penetrate the body covered with clothes, low frequency will reflect from any hidden metal or bomb which is fastened on the surface of the body skin. Haier has also claimed that the patents, chosen as standards by the Advanced Television Systems Committee and adopted as requirements by the FCC, are sold at a fixed price of $7 per digital TV, which makes it unfair for companies like low-end product makers to pay the same amount of royalties as those by large premium TV makers like Samsung, whose products are priced in the range upwards of 2,000 dollars.<\/p>\n US ITC to probe Caterpillar for patent infringement<\/strong><\/p>\n The U.S. International Trade Commission has announced that it will probe some of Caterpillar Inc\u2019s.\u00a0machinery after receiving a patent infringement complaint from Wirtgen America Inc., the American subsidiary of a German equipment manufacturer.
